About Thymosin Alpha 1
Thymosin alpha 1 is a 28-amino-acid peptide first isolated from thymus tissue in the 1970s by Allan Goldstein's group. The thymus is the organ where T cells mature, and thymosin alpha 1 is studied for its role in immune signalling, particularly T-cell function.
A synthetic version, thymalfasin (sold as Zadaxin), is approved as a medicine in a number of countries, mostly in Asia. It has not been approved by the US FDA or the European Medicines Agency. PepsVN supplies thymosin alpha 1 as a research compound only.

Checking the batch documentation
A certificate for the current batch is not linked on this page yet. Before you confirm an order, message us and we will share the available report. When you receive it, check three things:
- Batch number The number on the report should match the label on the vial you receive.
- Reported quantity The measured amount should be close to the labelled strength.
- Testing lab The report should come from an identifiable lab, ideally with a verification page you can open yourself.
Storage and handling
Keep unopened vials in the refrigerator (2–8 °C), away from light. Freeze-dried peptides tolerate room temperature for short periods, such as a few days in transit. Long-term exposure to Vietnam's heat and humidity should still be avoided. Once reconstituted, a peptide is far less stable, so it should be kept refrigerated and used within the period given in your research protocol. See our storage guide for more detail.
Common questions
Is thymosin alpha 1 an approved medicine?
In some countries, yes: thymalfasin is approved in parts of Asia and elsewhere. It is not approved by the US FDA or the European Medicines Agency. PepsVN sells it strictly for laboratory research.
How is thymosin alpha 1 different from TB-500?
They share the "thymosin" name but are unrelated molecules. Thymosin alpha 1 is studied for immune signalling. TB-500 is related to thymosin beta-4, which is studied for cell migration and tissue repair.
Can I see the certificate for my exact batch?
Yes. Send us the strength you are ordering and we will confirm which batch you will receive and share its report before you pay.
