About BAC Water
BAC water (bacteriostatic water) is sterile water that contains a small amount of preservative, usually 0.9% benzyl alcohol. The preservative limits bacterial growth, which is why it is used in laboratories to reconstitute freeze-dried compounds that will be drawn from more than once.
